American College of Vedic Astrology – MP3 Audio Files
The length of the presentations run from ninety minutes up to three and four hour intensives. These are stored in MP3 Data Format. If your standalone or car CD player work only with MP3 Music format files the ACVA files, either downloaded or on CDs, may not play.
Below is a list of tested and compatible players.
Computers:
The files will play back on PCs and MACs using the normal built-in audio players. We also recommend the Free Version of Win-Amp software as a tested player.
Portable MP3 Players:
The MP3 downloadable files are tested to work on Apple iPods, Creative ZEN and Microsoft zune. They will probably work on most others, but these are tested and work well.
 | Portable Recorder / Player: Sony Model ICD-P520 Digital Audio Recorder can download the MP3 files from your computer. It can then act both as a playback unit and a field recorder. Other Sony and Olympus digital units will work as well. Just make sure the model you choose can connect to your computer and transfer files. |

Some ACVA MP3 Data Files are downloaded in a compressed archive format called zip. The two latest Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, XP and Vista, have an unzip program built in. Older versions of the Windows OS require a separate program like Win-Zip
